How do I change/reset my password?

Why is the Create button unavailable when I try to create a file?
The Create button is not available until you have entered information for all mandatory fields (those with a colored bar at the side), and the data in all fields is valid, (no fields show an error with a red border). See WorldTracer User Interface.
What is the difference between Create and Quick Create?

You create Quick On-Hand Bags when you have unclaimed bags at your station and you want to enter them into WorldTracer as quickly as possible.

For a delayed bag, the Create and Quick Create functions both create a Delayed Bag File. However, Quick Create stores less information, and you should add further details as soon as you can. You can use Quick Create to save time when you have many passengers to process as quickly as possible.

What do I do if I find an unclaimed bag without a bag tag?
Create an On-Hand Bag File and describe the characteristics of the bag as clearly as possible. Enter YY in the Flight field to replace the flight number. See Create an On-Hand Bag File (Unclaimed Bags).
Why can't I find my file using the Search feature?
The Advanced Search feature only searches for files that are actively tracing. If the file is no longer in the tracing period, you can only find it using the Basic Search. Also clear any dates in the Search screen. See Search For and Manage Files.
Why can't I see my file in the Manage list of files?
The Manage transaction only displays a list of files (of one type) that you have displayed or updated in your current login session, up to 50 files. See Search For and Manage Files.
How do I email myself a list of open files at my station?
Use the Advanced Search feature. Specify the files you are want to find, then enter your email in the Send Results to Destination Addresses Email field. The list of files is then sent rather than being displayed on screen.
What is an Additional Tracing Station in a Delayed Bag File or an On-Hand Bag File?

If a bag or passenger has been diverted to a station not included in the original flight routing, you can add additional tracing stations in the Flight tab of a Delayed or On-Hand Bag File to promote tracing with files created at those stations.

Can I create a delivery order for a bag not registered in WorldTracer?
No. A delivery order is always linked to a file in WorldTracer.
Why can't I see any messages in the Station Inbox?

If your airline is handled at the station by another company, enter the other company's code in the Airline/Handler field and click Apply to see the messages.

How do I send a message to an Inbox related to a specific Delayed Bag File?
Update the Delayed Bag File and go to the More tab. Expand the Defined Prompt section. Enter your message and specify the date and time, and the destination for the message. See Defined Prompt.
